We went with my daughter for a vacation. We have decided to visit my daughter’s friend. She have had the best and the most beautiful beds. They were all wooden and carved. Beautiful hand made beds. We have been told that these queen size beds were almost hundred years old. If you would see them, you would never say that they are so old. Although we were on vacation, the bed made me want to stay in all day. Usually the holidays I spend the least time in bed. I forgot to mention we were in Spain. I liked that we were in the small village of Tordesillas. It is a beautiful village with great history. We were there at the time when the Bull festivals were celebrated. It was very interesting and instructive to watch all domestic Spaniards as proudly chasing a bull in the ring and to celebrate life. During the day, in the streets were hardly found someone, all the shops were closed. People began to leave their homes after the Afternoon siesta and rejoiced, danced and sang all night. These festivals lasted two weeks and have ended with an amazing midnight fireworks display, which we have all seen from the bridge over the River Duero. Fireworks lasted about an hour. Nothing like I have ever experienced. Watch the fireworks in the summer on a beautiful clear night sky was definitely one of most beautiful experiences I have ever experienced. Before our flight back to Slovakia, I once more slept in the amazing bed.
